Expressive veining and custom stone details define this Park Avenue kitchen on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. ProStone fabricated and installed Arni Fantastico marble countertops, a custom-profile island, full-height slab backsplashes, and stone shelves with 2-inch mitered build-ups. A coordinating marble coffee nook carries the material throughout the space.

Custom Arni Fantastico marble shelves introduce clean horizontal lines within the boldly patterned wall slabs. Fabricated with 2-inch build-ups and mitered corners, the shelves have a substantial stone appearance that complements the surrounding backsplash and countertop.

A Coffee Nook in Marble

A dedicated coffee nook continues the kitchen’s Arni Fantastico marble in a compact, carefully detailed setting. The countertop and full-height slab backsplash are paired with 2-inch mitered marble shelves, creating space for everyday essentials and display while carrying the main kitchen’s stonework into the recess.

Crafted Along the Edge

This close-up highlights the custom-profile edge of the Arni Fantastico marble island. The shaped edge follows the rounded corners, revealing the stone’s intricate veining across both the countertop and its face. Against the fluted wood base, the detail gives the island a substantial yet softly contoured appearance.
