PROJECT OVERVIEW

Honed, cross-cut Navona travertine brings a soft ivory palette to this Downtown Manhattan bathroom. Natural stone walls and floors are complemented by warm wood cabinetry, a curved glass shower enclosure and generous daylight. Unfilled walls retain the stone’s natural texture, while transparent epoxy-filled shower surfaces and floors maintain a consistent appearance throughout.

Vanity & daylight

Warm Wood, Pale Stone

The wood double vanity adds warmth to the pale stone palette. A light countertop, paired mirrors and tall windows balance the textured travertine with clean lines and natural light.

Honed Travertine Walls

Unfilled, cross-cut Navona travertine gives the bathroom walls a softly varied pattern with visible natural pores. The honed finish keeps the appearance matte, while stone continues around the doorway and meets the filled travertine floor.

Curved shower enclosure

Curved Shower Enclosure

A curved glass enclosure softens the outline of the travertine shower. Its slender metal frame follows the rounded corner above the stone curb, while clear glass keeps the shower walls visible from the rest of the bathroom.

Niche & hidden drain

Shower Niche & Hidden Drain

A recessed travertine shower niche provides storage within the stone wall. At floor level, a hidden drain keeps the drainage detail discreet and the focus on the honed travertine surfaces.
